A Vegan Pizza Tour of the Greater Boston Area

Just going to rapid fire this one off before I lose the truly tactile experiential pizza memories. And also because I’m super tired right now.
I just saw Wind River in the theater (It’s excellent, very bleak! Politically sympathetic to women and Native Americans but still makes white people the heroes and Jeremy Renner a very stoic lone wolf savior-type).

Pizza.

Criteria: In order to be a vegan pizza, the pizza must have something purposefully vegan about it. This can be vegan cheese or some other vegan protein (like sausage or tofu). So I’m not accepting pizza with no cheese, just red sauce and vegetables. Because then I would also have to accept bread with just red sauce. And then I would have to accept just bread. Who’s Your Daddy?

Happy Father’s Day to all of the dad, dads-to-be, grandfathers, role models, and other guardian-types of the masculine persuasion!
And a very much more specific bucket o’ love to my own cher papa.

There was a change of plans and we went to VO2, a vegan cafe attached to a yoga studio in Cambridge. I know, right?

Ice Cream Flavors

Ice cream is a delightful thing and I like having it for breakfast (or lunch or dinner). Because  rarely have dessert and if you keep your meals normally balanced and healthy, what could be wrong with setting aside one of them to feed your soul?
While these aren’t necessarily my favorite ice cream flavors, they are the ice cream flavors of my life. My life, as told in ice cream. You know how you can tell when fossils come from based on what stratified rock layer they’re located in?
