A few disclaimers before we get into the meat and gristle of this here post. 1) I do know that I’m stealing the title of this post from a book (Mom’s a big knitter- go check out Stitch ‘n Bitch: The Knitter’s Handbook by Debbie Stoller on amazon) and 2) have I been talking about shopping and fashion a bit too much recently? I don’t think so, but I’ve some movie and book lists on the burner.
I’m not a very crafty person. My idea of DIY is more my Dad’s (power tools for the win!) than Mom’s (knitting and quilting) but I do have a great appreciation for handiwork.
